Orders are shipped Monday – Friday. Expedited orders must be placed by 11 am PST to ship the same day.

Orders shipping ground have a processing time of 2-3 working days for domestic orders and 4-5 working days for international orders.

How we ship 

We ship with USPS and UPS. We can also ship via FedEx at your request.

Small orders going to Canada will almost always be sent by USPS to help save on shipping and import costs. Orders going to APO/FPO boxes will also be sent via USPS.

Shipping rates 

We do not charge a flat rate for shipping because of the variations in weight for our products. Instead we charge you what the shipping company charges us. Our website uses a shipping calculator based on the daily rates for USPS and UPS based on the weight and destination of the shipment. You can also have us use your UPS/FedEx account number to charge your shipping to. Just enter it in the appropriate box on the checkout page.

Order tracking 

You will receive an automated email from the shipping company with your tracking information once the order ships. If you have registered an account with us you can also find the tracking number for any order by logging into your account and viewing your order history.

In store pick up 

You can pick up your order via will call at our Vista location. If you are in Southern California you will have the option to select local pickup at checkout. If you are outside of the area then you can use the order notes box on the checkout page to specify when you’d  like to pick your order up.

Small orders are typically ready within an hour after the order is received. Larger orders, such as machines, may take a few hours to get together so it’s best to call ahead to check stock and lead time.

Stock & Backorders 

All items are normally in stock, however backorders do occur. If your order contains multiple items and one of them is on back order we will charge you for the entire order and then ship the backordered part once it’s in stock at no additional charge.

Changing/Cancelling Orders

If you wish to cancel or change your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. As a vast majority of in-stock items ship within 24-48 hours, it is imperative that you contact us so we may attempt to cancel/change your order before it is processed and/or shipped.

Customs and Duties (for shipments going to Canada)

All applicable customs fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customs authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package – the value is the retail cost.  Sherline cannot mark any package(s) as a “Gift” in order to avoid customs and duties fees.

Please note that on rare occasions, customs agents may delay the delivery of some packages at their discretion.

Exchange rates change daily, and Sherline.com is not responsible for any loss incurred as a result of currency fluctuation. Please note that your credit card processor may charge you a conversion rate fee.

Payment

If you are a first time international customer, payment must be made by wire transfer, and an additional $40 will apply. This is to protect us against fraud as we cannot verify that the credit card belongs to the person who placed the order.

Shipping

Because we cannot verify international credit cards, we do not drop ship to the US for international customers. This includes using forwarding companies. Your order will be cancelled without notice.

Shipping charges and available service will vary based on package weight and country of destination. If you want us to determine the best shipping method you can select that option at checkout.
